That's a really good point Zach. Right now because the comparison feature will also help with research, that's the next one we are working on, then back to the other valuation models.

Watchlist and portfolio stuff will come later.

For now, it's best to go into menu > download area and get the entire database via spreadsheet.

When the screener is ready, you'll be able to filter.

lets see how many people vote for this :)

Right now, I'm declining all requests to have screens based on valuation.

Reason being that valuation is highly subjective and using it as a screen is not a good idea.

Valuation should only be performed individually and not as a group and listed in a database. It creates many errors because if the MOS is based on a 9% discount rate, but it should really be adjusted to 12%, the MOS number is way off.

The only downside is that the tooltips don't support math equations.

And trying to read a potentially complex calculation in 1 line is going to be tough for users.

In looking at the features, need to look at the impact a new data calculation will have.

Will need more votes to get it added.

Hey Easton,

Are you using different computers when logging in?

Right now, it remembers if you use the same computer. But if you move onto a different computer, then since the details are saved, it doesn't know who you are.

It's been released a few weeks ago. Hover over the stock and a cross will appear. Click to delete. http://screencast.com/t/jpyRmWZVW

UPDATE:

FYI we made some extra changes to the UX and this is how it will look and feel.

One of the things that is extremely important in the way we develop and create new features is to make each individual feature better than any comparable website.

You've all seen comparison features where you just have a table and that's about it.

What I want to achieve for you guys is to make it totally customizable to your needs.

Create and save your own list of data points you want to compare, rearrange the order, create different templates.

My vision is that old school value is a productivity and workflow tool for investors. No longer limited to an analysis tool.
